M9 motorway (Pakistan) : ウィキペディア英語版 | M-9 Super Highway
The Super Highway is a 136-km long 4-lane highway connecting the cities of Hyderabad and Karachi in the Sindh province of Pakistan. It is a part of Pakistan's National Highways Network. The Super Highway is currently being converted into a 6-lane limited-access or controlled-access motorway, which, after completion, will be redesignated the "M-9." In July 2014, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif directed the National Highway Authority to initiate work on the Super Highway project, M-9, which is likely to cost Rs 42 billion.〔(Rs 42 billion approved for Malir Motorway )〕 So far nothing concrete have been happened and there is no deadline for completion as well. One of the unfortunate reason is that M-9 is not in Punjab province other wise it would have been constructed many years ago. == Route == The Super Highway begins north of Karachi at the end of Mohammad Ali Jinnah Road, near junction of Karachi Northern Bypass (also known as M10). It is connected with the Karachi Northern Bypass with a trumpet interchange. Then it continues out of the city. From there it continues on a north-east track and forms a junction with the N5 via a link road. The highway ends outside of Hyderabad, in the suburban town of Kotri with a cloverleaf interchange where it merges into the N5.
